MAKING YOUR MARK...
These workshops are designed to immerse us simultaneously with creativity and the natural world. They take place over a half or full day. We will learn to calm ourselves through creating and also to relax, immerse and enjoy ourselves. From creating Paper Sculpture flowers, to foliage and fauna, birds and more. Also, gorgeous drawing workshops where we'll explore various techniques - mark making, texture, line, personal expression, ways of seeing that open us out to creating.

I have a degree in Fine Art, majoring as a sculptor working in multiple materials. I have also spent many years on Dartmoor/outdoors drawing and photographing the landscape and much more. I love helping others to connect to their own individual creativity with the support of the natural world around us. I'm a trained healer and Animal Communicator, so all of this will add a unique perspective to your experience. I provide all or most materials for these days.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE NOTE: ACCESIBILITY IN THE BUILDING
The toilet in the building is up quite a long flight of stairs, the entrance itself is up some small steps. Once in the venue, it's very easy to navigate! I'm sorry this may make it not possible for some of you due to the stairs and location of the toilet. It's a wonderful setting.

LUNCH - this needs to be offsite
We'll take a brief lunch of around 30 minutes. As it's a shop environment we aren't able to eat on site. There is a pub and a café practically next door, plus several more very close by. Or if it's a nice day plenty of opportunity close by to eat a packed lunch.

We are going to be creating in a shop environment. This gives a lovely laid back feeling and the place itself is full of gorgeous British made art and design. It's a super welcoming place and lovely owners so you will be in a fabulous atmosphere!

DRAWING WORKSHOP

This is set to be a delightful day. We'll immerse with the wonderful energy of trees. Leaning into connecting with them and then allowing that to influence how we create on the page. I've spent a lot of time around trees and find them super-engaging to draw.
This is about learning how you want to express your own creativity. We'll enjoy the grounding, supportive and expansive presence of the trees. We will work in monochrome for great effect and focus.

Please bring your own lunch, drinks etc and something to sit on (whatever is best for you). Clothing for different weathers and temperatures is essential.
